Jillian's story keeps you engaged in a very personal way, especially if you have raised teenage sons. Portions of the book are suspenseful, some parts almost border on the horrific, other parts have you cheering for Jillian, a woman whose courage comes through when needed. It's like I have been waiting to read this story for years and years!
I have known people like this. I can not imagine living this nightmare for real.
This, I believe, will someday be a Movie.
Jillian is the single mom of two boys when Lindy Mason goes missing after a snowstorm. Everybody thinks she ran away, but Jillian know better. Jack Malkin is making it his business to find the truth.
Not everything on the surface is what it seems, but ugly is ugly.
This story was so compelling and satisfying that I could not put this book down! I had to keep reading and the ending was so unexpected and surprising! I will definitely recommend this book to my friends and family. Thank you, Liz! You are an amazing writer!! xo
