A Lingering Passion is a story I savored. It combined a strong sense of place, believable interesting characters with a fascinating plot. Barwood brings to life the paranormal in a vivid, mystical, and intriguing way.
I read it on my Kindle and was delighted by the excellent formatting, superior to many e-books I've recently read. The only strange formatting issue I noticed was that a double dash is converted to a hyphen, but that is not a serious problem for readability.
If you enjoy paranormal stories, rich deep characters, you won't be disappointed.
